About

Mediatrix refers to the intercessory role of the Blessed Mother as a mediator in the salvific redemption of her son Jesus Christ and that he bestows graces through her. These graces are incredibly accessible through praying the rosary. A brief history of the rosary: The Cistercians, a religious order founded in 1098, developed The Marian Psalter using prayer beads to keep track of 150 Hail Marys divided into groups of 10 by Our Fathers. It was not a meditative prayer, though, nor one that would have been "preached". In 1208, after three days of prayer and fasting, three angels appeared in the sky along with a ball of fire to St. Dominic Guzman, a Spanish priest. When they disappeared, the Virgin Mary spoke, telling the priest that he must preach her Psalter, and she revealed the mysteries that correspond to the Psalter. Ultimately, these meditative mysteries would eventually be called the Rosary - a "wreath of roses" and lead to countless conversions and miracles.

in the 1500s the Venetians first made rosaries in response to Pope Pius V's request for everyone to pray the rosary because the Ottoman Empire was coming up against the Christian Holy League. It was a David and Goliath situation. The Christian Holy League prayed, battled, and won thanks, in part, to the help of the Venetian's faith, bravery, and artistry.

All rosaries are made from the finest materials, including Venetian Glass beads, Austrian crystals, and precious and semi-precious stones. Venetian Glass beads from Venice, Italy are handmade with remarkable intricate detail. These beads have always appreciated in value. Venetians have been perfecting the art of glass making on the island of Murano since 1291, and their glass has become the most sought-after glass in the world. The Austrian beads feature a combination of a secret chemical formula and the highest degree of precision cut which produces world-renowned crystals.

Jeanette Quesada is a Catholic parishioner of the National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica. Her love for the Blessed Mother returns to her early childhood when a nun gave her a little plastic Mother Mary statue. On October 28, 2010, Jeanette experienced a personal miracle of healing from the Blessed Mother, further strengthening her devotion. Artistic talent runs in Jeanette’s family, and over the past 15 years, she has developed her unique style of rosary design. Jeanette approaches each rosary prayerfully with the person's intentions that will eventually make that rosary part of their prayer life.

I have purchased 2 rosaries from Jeanette. Both are beautiful and one-of-a-kind pieces. Jeanette does exquisite work, and her attention to detail is impeccable. I enjoy both my rosary bracelet and full rosary every day. And, these heirlooms will one day be handed down to my daughter which brings me much joy to know.

Jeanette has been a pleasure to purchase rosaries from, as she is very knowledgeable about her pieces and loves sharing her religious endeavors.

Buy a rosary from Jeanette, and have a special heirloom in your family for generations to come.

The rosary that I bought from this young lady was exquisite … so much so, it led me to buy several more.

As you see, each one is unique and irreplaceable, just like the people we plan to gift them, too.

I highly recommend her work, it's pure beauty, and even more breathtaking in person.

I love the Rosary I bought from Mediatrix Rosaries because it’s stunning, unique and so thoughtfully crafted. It’s made with such high-quality materials and so worth the expense.

I love it and bought it even though I’m not Catholic because to me prayer is universal and everyone can practice the rosary and appreciate its meaning.
